The 2027 Festival Theme is:

Many Voices, One Breath

We are looking for programmes or presentations that are as representative of our diverse flute history and genres as possible.

How to submit

Proposers are required to fill out our application form in the link below.

Your proposal must include TWO biographies of 50 words and 100 words each, and a good quality headshot or ensemble photograph in order to be considered.

Sessions should not exceed 50 minutes. Proposing a half session of 25 minutes is also encouraged.

NEW in 2027: Lighting Talk: A 3-5 minute presentation on a research topic.

Performance Proposals:
Preference is for a recording of the proposer performing the actual work/s being proposed. When this is not possible, an example in a comparable style, genre, or historical period would suffice. For premieres, or pieces not yet recorded, recordings of the composer's other works and/or PDFs of score may be included. YouTube links preferred.

Panel/Lectures/Workshops: May include detailed outlines, videos of prior presentations, PowerPoint presentations, etc. Please be as detailed as possible.

Supplemental Material: Supplemental material should preferably be uploaded to YouTube or linked to an online folder such as DropBox, Google Drive, OneDrive etc. Access must be set so that anyone with a link can view the file.
